Mugler Launches First Bag Collection For Spring Summer 2013

Mugler is launching it's first bag collection for Spring Summer 2013 and in typical Mugler style, the bags are all about structure and geometry. The collection is a mix of different colours and fabrics, including embossed leather, snakeskin, mix metallic calf and rubbed crocodile.

This isn't the first time Nicola Formichetti has got some attention for his bag designs, as back in September he caused some stir with his ´Lady Gaga bum bag.´ We're not talking about that 90´s fashion faux-pas, This bum bag was moulded in the shape of Gaga's pert derriere. You can now purchase your own Gaga inspired bum bag, as the oragami style clutch bag will be on sale in several colours including an animal print, blue, orange and silver.

Creative Director Nicola Formichetti said about the collection: “This is now my 4th collection as creative director of Mugler, and following the evolution of the brand, I was interested in creating sculptured objects in 3D, a piece of the Mugler world that one can carry around, an element that completes the look.”

Mugler (and Gaga fans) will be excited to know that the collection will be available to buy in stores worldwide from February 2013.
