Max Mara has joined forces with yarn company Saluzzo Yarn for a sustainable line to be produced under the Weekend Max Mara label. The four-piece range is made of Saluzzo’s Newlife yarn, a polyester material crafted from recycled plastic bottles. The houndstooth print collection will include a pencil skirt, trench, blouse, t-shirt and collarless jacket, with prices ranging from $220 to $700. The collection will hit 1,500 stores this month.
