Blue me a Party Nail

Hi, today I'm going to show you what I've had on my nails for the past couple of days. I wanted something dark, but playful and glittery. Well, I sort of ended up with party nails, in my opinion. I think this nail varnish duo produces a great result for beautiful and attractive nails ideal for a night out. Personally, I'd wear my nails like this everywhere, but I know some people don't do glitter or sequence, unless it's N.Y.E. Anyway, I really wanted to try my unused Models Own stunning nail varnish in Freak Out. I had a look through my nail varnish collection to find a dark colour to pair it with and I think I found a great one. It's the Oh My Gosh Cobalt Blue nail lacquer. It's actually quite darker than what it appears in the photos above. I applied two coats of that on top of the Sally Hansen Double Duty, which I use as my base coat. Then, I applied two thick coats of Freak Out and finished it off with Seche Vite top coat. I absolute love the result and I've been getting some complements, too.
